Is the new shaft 202MM long? I just bought an upgrade kit with the extended shaft and all metal head parts and want to make sure I'm getting the proper length to avoid strikes.

@4Hagan I'd have to go with no, possible if you went brushless, but I use a 20gram mini cam once and a while and even it effects the flight characteristics of the Lama, a bigger heli would be better if you're looking at mounting a camera!?

Thx =) Flight time really depends on the batt/lipo you're using, I run an old 1000mah batt in it and get about 10mins flight time. This wouldn't be a bad heli at all for a beginner, it's very stable, parts are available when you break something =p The price is pretty cheap, and there are also a few upgrades you can look at down the road =)

I did yes, and the brushless upgrade(s), although I haven't flown it in a while as I've picked up a few new planes recently ;)

I'm thinking about getting me one. I have a blade cx3 and I love it but this being bigger looks great!! I'll be sure to get the upgraded longer shaft rod to avoid blade clash......that's what lots of reviews say.

Nice, it's a great heli, blade strikes aren't a problem unless you're "jerkin'" the controls, I've only ever had one, also have the upgrades but have yet to add em' ;) Good choice!
