You're right Jacky, he certainly is a great songwriter. Of all the musicians I have met in my career, his music means the most.

A friend and I payed Martin Newell and the lovely village of Wivenhoe a visit back in May 2007. He is a wonderful guy and a gracious host. As for the music, I honestly don't believe there is a better pop songwriter in existence. His songs, I don't know...they just do it for me!

I'll always remember may 2007, when my pal Rojo and I payed Martin a visit during our vacation to the UK. Wivenhoe was one of the loveliest and most relaxed villages that I have ever seen. Martin is an inspirational artist and a really wonderful guy. I just wish we could have caught him at a Greyhound gig or been there for "Spoke n' Word." Maybe next time...
