@bigbadvader369 Co-existence is a futile crack-dream. The only way it could be possible is to demean religion to a pointlessness. Take away their power so that they can't oppress human production. But, tell me, will a religious community ever not feel obligated that everyone has to agree with their word. Just so they can feel like their homes aren't being desecrated by sinners and blasphemers?

Whether you are atheist or religious it doesn't matter you're both wrong. Going at each others throats over who is wrong is a fuel for war not just the religions. Is religion unnecessary in todays's world? Yes. Is it an excuse for atheists to lash out? No. Live in harmony and co-exist. Only then will we see each other as fellow humans beings and strive tto become more than we are. But until then, then superstitions, the arguing, and hatred needs to go.

Religion is for non-thinking sheep. Ignorance is much easier to accept through blind faith than through reason. The only tool we have against death is reason; suppress the reason then everything is easier to control. A legion of faithful zombies to do ones own bidding.

Just to say, I am christian and I belive in Unitary Universalism. That meansyou can be any religion and an atheist but its idea is to co-exist in peace. Anyone wanna support that?

In my opinion, it's man that kills. Religious wars or actual wars that would have been justified by religion are not written in holy books. I think it's too easy to put the blame on religion. Some people are religious and very open about other people's ideas. I don't think that if religions were to dissapear, we would be living in a better world.
