  • Excellent piece.

Are these gut basses? They seem to have just the right amount of decay.

  • No, they are a special order copper spun from Pyramid with an extra thick nylon core. Helps to deaden the sound and make them more gut like.

  • Molto bello. Bravo!

  • Baroque lutes went out of fashion because they are 1) really hard to play 2) take forever to tune and 3) aren't very loud.

    But that's also why they're magical :)

  • Very nice.

  • Great playing, and very interesting to hear a baroque instrument. Makes me wonder why it went out of fashion.

  • this is nice indeed!

  • I liked this pieces very much. Thanks.
