fill plastic tub half way with water, set outside in sub-freezing temps, put wood block under one end of the tub to create the slope/angle, let freeze solid (a day or two), carefully remove ice block from tub, carve channel using a electric drill with steel brush disk attachment, embellish/decorate as desired, enjoy.
