There was never a surplus during the Clinton administration. They "predicted" a surplus over the first 20 years of the millenium if the stocks and housing markets kept going up - guess what, they didn't.

Yes, weird. Let me get this straight: FOX anchors have an exclusive with potentially the next VP, and the host pokes fun at him?! Fine, Pawlenty's on the "short list" but he knows nothing has been announced and doesn't want to go overboard. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

These hosts make strange, unprofessional use of their medium. Demand better from your news sources.
