Many times I listen to japanese people say: "Doko ni arimasu ka?" Arimasu because the object doesn't live. So why we put just "desu" and no "imasu/arimasu".???
Another question: why we just say "Doko desu ka" and don't use "Doko ni"??

So if "koko desu" is a way of saying it's here...THe whole sentense whould be kaban wa koko desu, right? So is it correct to us the sentense Watashi wa koko desu! To tell someone that you are here?
