religion is a thing of faith either you believe the world was created by an all powerful being or you believe it just came to be from nothingness witch contradicts modern science. Something can not be made from nothing. Were did the atoms from The Big Bang Theory come from as a matter of fact were did the space they were traveling threw com from, too many question that can never be answered without coming back to god.

These facts are true, but we can not say that religions are cult based on these facts only because the every human is govern by those need of self improvement and gaining thing or enhancing there way of living it is human nature. Just because cult or some religious leaders exploit these things does not mean that all belief systems or religion are ment to decive or use us.

@jackskellingtonsora True. And considering the way that hinduism approaches nature, it is like the religions of nomadic people, where they honor nature. No cult leader started it definately (since they do not form a civilization), but rather their views are to honor nature. Over the years, with Hinduism, civilizations settled, and when invaders came in, nearly all, except for Christians and Muslims, assimlated, forming this very complex religion.

That would make sense for Hinduism. As I said, it would make sense that there would be starter religions, so to speak, to call the new ones cults.

The leader in this video has explicitly bad motives, but the leader in any new cult does not necessarily have bad motives. It is just one of the most important parts in the starting of a new cult. There has to be some sort of a leader, real or legend, good or bad motives. The leader is someone who everyone can rally around.
