The Swiss Renegades, junior fife & drum corps from Basel, at the Company of Fifers & Drummers.
*Is this the tune that was written for them by Bill Hart (fife) and Brendan Mason (drum)?*

  • You would be correct. The tune is indeed Athol Highlanders , quite an excellent tune.

  • I think the tune is called Athol Highlanders.

  • the year they cam to deep river rocked I hope they come back this year

  • Contact the Marlborough Jr. Ancient Fife and Drum Corps or the Ancient Mariners. Both have extensive ties with Swiss F&D corps and have travelled to Switzerland.

  • I work at the Fortress of Louisbourg, a reconstructed french fortress, as a drummer. At the Fortress there was a regiment of swiss soldiers, called the Kareer regiment. Our historians don't seem to want to put any research in to finding out what music the Swiss fife and Drums played. If anybody knows of any swiss military music from the 17th and 18th century, could you please tell me where i could find it. Thanks

  • OMG... i wanna learn this song it is soo cool....
