  • I really love Blu-ray Disc players. I've had many from the 40GB phat PS3 to the 120GB PS3 Slim which i now have. I also had a non-3D Panasonic DMP BD35 which was an excellent BD player. Nowadays i use a 120GB PS3 Slim for games , wired and wireless media streaming and watching BD's and DVD's. I also have 2 Pioneer Blu-ray Disc players model BDP-430 and BDP-LX55. I must say i really love to have an Oppo but in the USA it cost 499 Dollars. Here in Europe it costs 680 euro's which is too expensive!

  • @Appsandreviews

yeah, that is true. i won't disagree. i eventually settled with a ps/3. i would have really liked to have went the way of the Oppo, but it does depend on the needs of the individual.

  • @babystinky If you want the best speed and better respond you gotta go wired my friend

  • Can these record digital TV broadcasts?

  • i love how much care this company does for it and how they package it i have one too and its amazing it just shows how much they care.

  • I have a Vizio 42" 1080p and blu ray playback via Playstation 3 is excellent, but DVD upconversion is only so-so. Can someone tell me if its worth me shelling out $500 bucks for this player? I'd really love to see some of my DVDs that have no Blu-Ray version (Pink Floyd's The Wall and PULSE mainly) in better resolution. Thanks!!

  • The Oppo has no built in Wifi so its up to the user and what the needs are. personally, i am getting rid of my cable tv and going to be using things like netflix. saves money and in the end i get the best of both worlds. i was thinking about getting the oppo as it is the very best all round disc player with upcovnerting and rare formats, the bluray quality across most players should be equal.

  • I love the two calibration discs they give you! That's a nice touch.

  • @Watcher3223 I guess I can. But even though I rather like using a proper blu-ray player. Just personal preference.
