Al Shabaab kill 70 AU soldiers as retaliation tact

Over 70 soldiers from the African union mission in Somalia have been killed by Al Shabaab fighters in what is the clearest indication yet that Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, may not be fully in control of the AU peacekeepers and the Somalia transitional federal government forces. This happened as Kenya's defense forces continued their advance in the south of Somalia, with yesterday's capture of the strategic coastal town of Ras Kiamboni.

@mavikings hahahahahah the AK still beats G3 M16 and M14. yes they are very accurate rifles but they are all Semiautomatic rifles except the M16. coming back to the topic of better fighters the Somalis are the real deal and as a Djiboutian i can admit it they are remarkable fighters

Do u know the difference between accuracy vs ruggedness, the reason terrorists use the ak47 is just because it is rugged and easy to use...professionals use G3, m14, m16 and other not so rugged but accurate guns esp from some distance.. the fact that we are a peace loving and quiet people doesn't mean there is a military in east africa that can mess with kenya. and your list? aren't u supposed to list the peacefull country as first since it doesnt only take ak 47's to be a stable country??????

the gun u are using in the battle field is not good, and your soldiers have not Experienced for a fight, what i suggest for a Kenyan military to use only carefully air strike and destroy Al-shabab weapons and their leaders, that is the only way u can win in the fight, but infantry is your loose of many of ur soldiers life, cz your military Never fight, The people in Africa who knows to fight the most is 1) Somalia 2) Eritrea, 3) Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt, Rwanda, but Kenya is now trying Gd luck
