@Velvetgoldmine92 Sweet Dreams was the first song I heard by MM when I was 12, even though that was in 2006. I think a lot of people started with Sweet Dreams, most of them in the '90s.

@sidewaysfcs0718 I was exaggerating. What I meant was that a few artists & bands are good now, while the rest suck. Look at the mainstream. In the '90s, bands like Marilyn Manson were able to break into the mainstream & MTV had real music. Real artists were recognized back then. Now, barely anyone knows who Nine Inch Nails & Marilyn Manson are. =/

& I think the more recent years have been the worst for music, like 2009-now.

I hope things get better. Really.

manson was always hard to put into a category ....

in fact ...not even antichrist superstar, his most aggresive , and probably one of the most aggresive anti-american, anti-religous, anti-stupidity album of all time , still can't be called heavy metal ..it doesnt sound like metal ...it sounds.....like MANSON , he is his own genre (with a dash of Reznor)

rammstein, muse, placebo, metallica(kinda of), rob zombie, a perfect circle, tool, nine inch nails of course and these new up-and-coming rock bands ...of course things will probably not be as good as they where in the 90's for a long time ....

2001-2011 , worst 10 years for music ...lets hope by 2012 things will get better ....born villain dont dissapoint me!
