A couple of us were making lists of our favorite scenes of all time, this was my #2. What a powerful scene. Jennifer Connelly is unbelievable.

It's a devastating scene. It's like they try and make themselves think they'll be together again, but when Harry lies and says he'll come home today, that's when Marion realizes that their connection is lost forever.
It just breaks your heart, watching both of them cry and need each other and not being able to do anything about it.
