The T-Mobile G1, commonly known as the Google phone, is the first to use the search company's Android operating system.
It's being talked about as a potential rival to the iPhone, with a similar large touch-screen, mapping with GPS, music and video playback and downloadable applications.
In addition the G1 has a slide-out keyboard and a few other nifty touches, but it falls down in a couple of places too.

with the new 1.5 update you don't have to slide the screen up you could just use the new software keyboard and now the phone has autorotate so you could just tilt the phone and the phone will recognize it so the phone has improved and is getting better
