  • thanks hytyttiva ! I will !

  • I dont care much about music. What I like is sounds. - Dizzy Gillespie

  • you can use whatever you want in case you have fun. I like this box because it uses an old chip from an old computer (commodore). This chip is pretty unstable what makes the sound really thick and living...

A complete software architecture has been designed to control this chip, which makes it also really interesting (ie fun) to programm. Hope it answers...

  • many thanks for the coments !

  • just plug in a regular midi keyboard. This synth is soooo expressive and unpredictible.

Il like it to be play like this (as a minimoog or other monos with keyboard).

Some prefere to trigger it with a sequencer like a tb 303.

Anyway, I find the sounds most of the time interesting.

Its a great add on to a poly synth or regular piano (great also with mellow wurlitzer or rhodes) as it 'cut in' the song.

  • nope, RE-20 space Echo from Boss

  • I have a sidstation and love it. It broke recently. Beware of faulty power issues. Fortunately it is getting repaired and soon will be living again. For a digital synth it sounds alive.. Must be the filters..

  • I am loving those sounds !!! : )

  • Far Out ..... yeah keep it up man

  • cant belive you payed that much money for a SID based synth

  • Have you killed any one yet??? :) nice noises....

  • throbbing gristle

  • i like the sepia filter youve added. appropriate for the 8-bit era. :)

old but still the best synth chip ever!

  • I've heard of it plenty of times. But this is the first time I've seen a video for it.
