It is not the kind of song that I would have chosen for my children. There is plenty of better Xmas music available thank god.

I have to admit -- You're right. But I think it's good for children. But with adults, yeah -- "insipid" might be a little strong, but you have the right idea.

lol, I thought I was the only one that had good memories from this song... :P It was probably my favorate Christmass song as a kid. I remember listening to it as we set up our Christmas tree about 20/21 years ago. Ah, what wonderful memories. :mrgreen: Thanks for posting.

I heard this song as a little girl and still remember and love it 'til this day. It's such a sweet classic of what Christmas is about. Thanks for sharing this video!
