Decided to do a split video of the two guitar parts in Laid to Rest. Approach for recording was different this time. Each guitar has two tracks, one as a direct input into my interface, and the other a mic to my amp. I did not take the time to tweak my settings to maximize the effect, but, I think it still has a noticeably thick sound to it. used a Boss MT-2 Metal Zone for distortion with a Digitech Digidelay for the higher guitar part. Amp rig was my Mesa Dual Rec Road King, and I used my fav guitar; Schecter C-1 Classic. Hope you like it!
