I am a student at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Faculty: Automation & Computer Science.
This is a project of mine designed especially for a conference organized by the department of Mechatronics of my university.
The working principle: it uses 3 line IR senzors(3 pairs of IR emitter/receiver diodes), the signals from the senzors are transmitted to an IC which controls the two motors. The IC is an octal buffer, all the intelligence is realised by a logical level, it not uses a microcontroller, just digital electronics and a little bit mechanics(the gear-boxes of the motors).

  • nice video ... i am actually new to this but i guess u have used 3 sensors coz u have used 3 leds.... ryt??

can u plz tell as to what should be the distance between the sensors while making the robot..

  • Very nice robot, has a few bugs but still is good. Nice design and idea on the LED of what sensors are working. 5/5

  • Two questions about IR emitters.

First the blue is the emitter, right?

And second how much voltage can the blue one handle?
