"Mom's Birthday (for Dad)," A Poem by Chad Parenteau

This is one of the earlier poems I did for April's National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo), an yearly challenge taken up by many bloggers to write a poem a day for the entire month. The loss of my father just four months prior made up much of my output.
