This is the tornado that started in west Oklahoma City then traveled to NW 150 & N. Penn then thru Edmond, Ok, thru Oak Tree Addition and then Logan County. At times it was rain wrapped and hard to see. We were heading up I 35 where OHP was slowing traffic down. We told the trooper that we were feeding info back to a local TV station and he let us pass. The tornado lifted only to reform and come down again in northeastern Logan County. Tne NWS called this storm an EF2. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and all the other emergency workers did an excellent job. For more video visit Randy946. He is my chase partner and did most of the video work as I was driving.
@JamesFilm123 He's doing his job. There's little practical information about the size, speed and severity of an approaching tornado. The situation can change in seconds. A good example are the 5/10/2010 tornado damage of I-40 at Choctaw road. I commend the trooper for doing his job. Stormchasers do not have a right to drive illegally on that right hand lane nor ignore lights / sirens.

Another example of state troopers BLOCKING the highway. I thought they were not allowed to do that and might put travelers on the highway at risk. I know they are trying to alert people but it could cause more harm than good.
