How to create waves the easiest way

i call it "the DNA chain".it's so easy ,it's like 2 in one hairstyle.u can hold it in the hair bands for a day and it looks nice and the next day u can have wavy hair,no hussle,no heat/curling iron or hair products.

I have to admit -- very good idea. I usually just twist my hair up into a bun on the top of my head and then sleep on it but I'm curious what it would look like if I tried it your way -- I'm gonna try it for school on Monday

@TheReaPrettyCommitee put a bit of pomade, texture paste, mousse, gel, or some sort of styling product (NO HAIRSPRAY THOUGH! :D) before putting your hair into the bun.
