Written by Henry Fiol and recorded for an album in the 80s that, disappointingly for him, received little attention, Asere decided to breathe new life into a crackin' tune. Palo Santo is about the great trees of this world that endure through time -- the ancient Elms in Europe, the Baobab in Africa and the Ceiba in Latin America (one of which Henry cherished at the entrance to his father's hometown in Puerto Rico).
