@geniousdeeson I haven't tried Traktor, so i can't tell. If you're a total beginner, i would recommend you begin with the software only, so if things don't work out, you won't have spent 600$ on turntables. When you decide to continue, decide on what hardware: vinyl, virtual vinyl, CDs, digital? there's a lot of information on the web about each type, how to use it, what gear to buy, etc. Just search on google and youtube. good luck ;)

@geniousdeeson dude i have both trak and vdj and if u trully are a beginnes i strongly recommend you use virtual dj,...the software only...try that and as u progressively get better move on and try out the controllers..traktor is quite a bit complicated for a beginner..best regards

then connect ur headphones to ur usb sound card load sound on deck 1 and two.

play deck 1 scrol the crossfader to desk 1. if u wanna listen to desk 2 just clik play on desk 2 it will play in ur headphones connectect to ur sound card then u all set.

u need a usb sound card

they go on ebay for 5bucks not sure.

then connect ur usb sound card, open vdj, config, config audio.

then on output chose headphones  sound cards chose 2cards

now sound card click on primary sound card thts for the first 1

and for the second card click on speaker( usb sound device)

by the way make sure u plug in the usb sound card befor opening vdj.

@geniousdeeson Best thing is to first buy a not so expensive midi control and VDJ, buy a usb soundcard on ebay for a buck or two in order to cue your music
