I love this 5 chapters I have watched until now. I hope Aaron Sorkin will give us a lot more =)

This is one of the best shows on TV right now. Hands down. This series came out of left field and smacked us square in the face.. and we like it rough. ;)

But what for example if the Assange story is still developing in the real world by the time he gets there?

He won't. The season just ended, and the episode was set a year ago. By the time next summer hits, there will have been another year of news stories to cover. They're set roughly 1 year in the past, and probably will stay roughly 1 year behind us.

It's perfect for the show. Far enough behind to let them cover it properly and in depth, but close enough that it's still fresh on everyone's minds. They're not going to change that formula.

I like the show. However, I wonder what Mr. Sorkin will do when he gets to a point where he has to bring in a news story that is still running & controversial.

This is a FICTIONAL show. You're not "having yourself pumped full of liberal thoughts and views", it's not like you're sitting chained to a chair being lectured while being subjected to electro-shock therapy.

When you have a show that's a drama about political things, expect political opinions to be expressed, or ideas and thoughts to be challenged...
