@PatoWiNNERS ahahahahahahaha........ One of the founders of the Mujaheddin, fought the soviets from the start "Ahmad Shah Massoud" also found and command the Northern Alliance. He believed in "Afghanistan for Afghans".. the Taliban assassinated him before 9/11 because was the only one who could unite the country under one flag, he would be president of Afghanistan right now.. his generals are now generals in the ANA. Did you get your info from some ill informed extremist?

@PatoWiNNERS The Taliban itself played a small role at the end of the war, the majority of the fighters were Mujahedin, just because they came from Pakistan does not mean they are Taliban... on what pole do you take in account that the majority of the country want Taliban rule... please give me the website you got your stats from.

The Taliban invaded after the Soviets left.. the country was weak so the Taliban moved in and took over by pushing out the Afgan government, many of the fighters that fought the Russians the Mujahedin formed the Northern Alliance, they have been at war with the Taliban for years on end.... NATO moved in and helped the Northern Alliance retake the country and form their government..... please do your research before ranting..

These uneducated tribesmen don't understand politics. They just believe what they are told by their clerics and tribal leaders. The answer isn't just killing them, it's education. The Saudis understand this. they are opening radical madrasses all over the world to spread their insane version of Wahabi Islam. We need to counter that with sensible education.

I bet a lot of those Taliban soldiers don't even know what they are fighting for. They probably are just ordered to kill anyone their leaders claim are infidels.
