It's a bit weird story: One day my Grandparents' dog, yes, this one from one of my films went to our garden at about midnight. You know, normal thing. But this time she was barking very loud and she was very excited. You know why? There was a wild Hedgehog in a garden!

I captured him next day at daylight, he was at the same place. Suprisingly he wasn't afraid of me and I filmed him well (what a nice guy). Then he has gone away...

  • i would have capurded it

  • autsch!! (smile)..very nice video. Best greeting =^.^=

  • @SeveredG0ldfish-you're correct, it doesn't hurt to hold them, I just adopted one as a pet and I've held him a bunch. (I live in the US, so my hedgehog is an African Pygmy) Their spikes are to protect from an animal bite like you said. Also, their spikes look intimidating, and that helps with protection as well! :)

  • IT LOOKS LIKE THE DOG HAD MOUTHED IT IN TWO PLACES

  • cute ^.^

  • I put my hand on one a few weeks ago getting under a house. We both got a fright and he curled into a ball. The spikes are fairly sharp but no blood. After a minute he walked off cool and calm like nothing ever happened.

  • yeah probably from the bark from the dog
