Bee Line Bus Orion V Shorty 103 on the 52 to Bronxville

We are at the turnaround on Secor Avenue by the Secor Houses in The Bronx, where we are treated to a rare sight; a 30 foot Orion V shorty on the Bee Line Route 52 to Bronxville. Bus 103 (Amelia Earhart), along with the other 30 foot buses, usually run on the Loop routes in White Plains or on the commuter shuttles, not on the main routes. The reason this bus was here today was because a driver with a different bus was supposed to swap buses with the driver of this bus, but departed from the garage before the swap could happen. Normally, this route is run with NABI buses or full sized Orion V's, with the occasional Orion VII. Enjoy the sight of this bus, as well as our ride from Secor Avenue to southern Mt. Vernon.
