The annual Derby Festé provides a perfect test for every part of the Canon S95 compact camera. The fact that compact cameras are bought chiefly for happy snaps seems to be just a memory with this camera. HD movies, filmed at night, with stereo sound, seem to be its true forté. Derby Festé features FlameOz, City Arts: Giant Chimes and Surtal Arts: Lantern Project. A monopod was used throughout for speed and height. Edited in Final Cut Pro X on an iMac. The backing track was created in GarageBand.
