Big fan but the talk show thing doesn't really suit him. Nor does the "doing the celebrity thing". Love his music. But look at him. Hat, coat, scarf and hands up and together an low talking. Screams I don't want to open up to anyone.
Behind the mike with a guitar in hand belting out one of his chestnuts is where he belongs.

Well, it's an American audience with a British guest clasping his hands together tightly against his chest. This body language suggests superiority and wanting to push people away from his personal space. Plus, he does not talk very loud. It's no wonder he is not well-received at least in the traditional sense. But perhaps they are simply listening to him or pondering what he is saying.
