IT WORKED!
I drilled a 1/8" hole approx. 1 1/2 inches down from the top of the CO2 Cylinder Holder (with it out of the grenade) and it worked great on 2 test fires. Roughly 3 1/2 seconds then.....BANG!! This is a great mod and I will be doing it on my other Thunder-B grenade as well. These will now go back in rotation as my Summer Use Grenades!
I might try it on my Pineapple shells as well to see the results. I might film it as well!!

I would not recommend it as you could shorten the life of the mechanism, as well as getting your ass kicked if you covered some guy and his expensive AIRSOFT gear with paint!! Might try it all the same, watch this space!! Lol

This is the first version, and it was more or less useless until I drilled a 3mm hole, just make sure the hole is located slightly lower so the rubber collar that sits on top of the co2. Canister does not block the hole, I get 3 seconds exactly with this mod, I also apply some silicone grease to the thread of the grenade to make sure there is a proper seal. And sometimes I stick a thin coin underneath the co2 canister to make sure it gets punctured properly.
