@billycanty The most important thing in music is to have fun. I don't think "I have to practice", no, the better attitude is to think "I am ALLOWED to play this wonderful instrument"!!
Great playing Billy, as always. In my opinion, you're a real, blooded musician with heart and soul!

@billycanty What you gotta do is age your skin terribly, claim to be 30 years older than you are and sell yourself off to big companies, or a circus or something as a gimmick. People love gimmicks. Sad to hear about it man, it'll pick up one day, it'd better do with your talent.

genious, progressive, intense, im running out of aggressive adjectives cuz my mind is blowing your bassist is insane and your guitarist gives me the image of a god and as always your technique and finess is spot on with the genre (what ever that is)

@onejordangerous I thought your userneame said "onejordanRUDESS"
and I was like damn this man's got Rudess on his side, that's freakin sweet.
Nice work bro. What microphones did you use on your snare and toms?
BrocRock 10 months ago
@BrocRock Thanks. I use EV 408 N/D A's on the toms and a EV 408 N/D B on the floor. Sure 57's on top and bottom snare.

Why do metalheads who've been playing a few years tops uploading shitty camera-mic covers of whatever the fuck is hip get thousands of views, and you don't? Q_Q
JamesTheWench 10 months ago
@JamesTheWench Ive been trying to figure that out for years... Ive never uploaded for views anyway. What does that proove? There are thousands of drummers like me and better all over the world that will never "make it" in the music industry. Ive been trying since 1991 and have come close. I cant answer your question. All I can do is keep practicing HARD and be happy for the metalheads that are getting views. Hopefully one day someone big will give a shit about my playing. I hope to be ready.

Sounds like it's just slow enough that you can lay down a steady groove to, while still having enough intensity to add speed in the fills. I'm digging it.

@onejordangerous Thanks. You got the vibe. Slow and intense. I probably messed around with the tempo for an hour to get the right feel. Glad you dig it.
