  • I know! It's crazy how many pins it takes! When I get to the point where I think I have enough - I go in and add one more between each of them. :-)

  • LOL! Yep! I made a cape with red velvet. The center panel of the cape was longer, even though I had pinned it. I just didn't pin it *enough.* fortunately, however, about 4 inches had to be trimmed from the bottom so everything eventually got evened out. Now I know to put even MORE pins.

  • @shinyhappywendi Thanks! Your technique worked perfectly! I am finally done with the seam I had previously ripped out at least 4 times, due to one side being significantly shorter and puckered, just as you mentioned would happen if there weren't enough pins. You made my day! :)
