orchids

my orchids collection... i have 16 orchids and four of them are in spike the others are in bloom the blue orchid is fake but will be blooming white flowers with yellow center.....

5- no tag purchase from greenhouse but will be asking for it

10- blue orchid from silver vase (fake blue)
11- P. Salu Peoker Dtps Leopard Prince this one is fragant

hey monchi990 i do live in canada so we have pretty severe colds in here but up to now my orchids are doing fine and hopefully it stays that way... I dont use humidity trays or nothing like that cause i dont have space for it all the orchids are in my computer room so not enough space but i do mist them every morning i try to mist them with a normal spray bottle but it leave to much water on the leaf so now i use a multi-purpose sprayer for garden that i purchase @ a hardware store

hey monchi900 thanks for ur comments.... Now i use two types of food for the orchids keep in mind all my orchids are in bark so when in blooming i used the shultz 19-31-17 and when in vegetation(dormant state) i use the 25-10-10 when i water them i keep them for max 30 min in water soaking than i drain the plant and for the fertilizer i feed them once a month the thes rest of the time is water

@liztutz Oooh yes please. So I can see how you mist them and how they are doing now....Thank you for sharing so much info and tips with us..It means a lot to me...A few months ago I also purchased a multi-micro sprayer and it is very good...It mists just like micro drops..so natural..

You don't use humidity trays or saucers with pebbles and water in it?...

@liztutz yes, thank you for all the useful tips..I will try to get Shultz fertilizer's here in The Netherlands..I am trying to keep all my orchids alive and indoors and all tips are welcome...Are you also living in a country with winters? Because sometimes it's difficult for me to keep some of my Phal's healthy and to re-bloom again...
