Well, in the point-and-click genre of games... they're pretty much dead now. However, if you're talking about adventure games, then yeah, nothing can compare to the Myst series.

seen it all, done it all ;-) I must agree on Riven as the best game. Quantum leap from MYST and I think the best (logic!) puzzles, but the entire myst trilogy is superb. (URU also, enjeyed that too though very different) are there any comparisens today ?

Riven is indeed the best game. I still can't get over how they were able to step up so much over Myst.

4 was more beautiful than 3, 3 had the best puzzles, but riven was just the fuckin best one ever
