There is simply no point of comparison with Florez. While the latter makes a wonderful impression on CD, his "heady" voice is dissapointingly small if you hear him live, because there is little connection to the "core" of the sound. Araiza's impeccable technique displays not only an equally flexible and agile voice, but a much sturdier, warmer and rounder teor. His Ramiro remains unsurpassed.
