By the way, according to Wikipedia, Milo Aukerman (singer) has a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin and works as a plant researcher for DuPont. Presumably he got his suburban home.

To me, punk rock was about shedding stereotypes. Like the Circle Jerks doing a lounge act in "Repo Man."
People who say this isn't "real" punk rock because maybe it isn't quite obnoxious enough are missing the point of punk rock, I think. The Beatles were punk rock, in a way. They paved their own way. They didn't follow, they led. That's what it's all about. Pixies, Velvet Underground. Bands that contributed more than they borrowed. That's punk rock.
