The Pow Wow Chow cookbook is important in Granny Warren's biography for two reasons. First, it marks the first time Granny "comes out," as it were, as an Indian, two years before she checked the box on the Penn Law School employment application form and began her meteoric rise in race-quota obsessed academia. Consider Pow Wow Chow her spring training, her exhibition season in lying about her alleged heritage. Within just a few years after the first little white (get it?) lie, she had transformed herself into Harvard's "first woman of color."

Second, this is the first instance we see of the blue-eyed squaw plagiarizing other people's works. Of the three allegedly Indian recipes she contributed to Pow Wow Chow, two were cribbed directly from The New York Times' French-restaurant critic, who had been the chef at the most expensive Gallic restaurant in Manhattan, Le Pavilion. The chef said one of the recipes -- for cold crab omelet -- was a favorite dish of those well-know sachems and medicine men, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and Cole Porter.

Lieawatha lifted the third recipe from a 1959 edition of Better Homes & Gardens magazine.

As you watch, be sure to listen for the Indian war whoops coming from the cars passing through Kelly Square. And one final point: how often does Fauxchahontas wear that pink-red thing she's got on? At least every other day. Granny, you're a one-percenter, surely you can afford to buy some new clothes.

The guy should have saved the cap and had a DNA swab done to find out if she's an Indian.

Isn't integrity a lost value in today's politicians? If she were a republican there would be calls for her scalp.

I guess this issue appears to have backfired on Scott "Wall Steet" Brown. He was running even in the polls until he desperately latched onto this non-issue, and now he's dropping like a rock. Oops.

The only reason this is even an issue is because on the issues, Brown doesn't have a chance.

No body from my neck of the woods calls Native Americans "persons of color." And I grew up in the Dakotas on and around the Rez. I even taught on the Rez. Sounds like you are an ignorant Easterner who only knows about Native Americans.

Whats wrong with the fact that your mother says she is part Cherokee with Mrs. Warren just accepting that fact. Most of what we know about our ancestors comes from our parents. My parents told me only a little bit, so I did the research because I wanted to know. My kids don't want to know and neither did my brother. Are you prejudice against Native Americans. Are you saying that there is something wrong with a person having Native American ancestry?

She doesn't have to document her ancestry. Many people today know nothing and care nothing about their ancestors. Have you documented all of yours?

Look at what they pay the sports coaches at universities. Why are you complaining about only her salary. What about the salaries of the other teachers at Harvard. Many of the movers and shakers who have made millions of dollars and been Presidents have gone to Harvard. These professors earn their keep. Do the coaches. Also states need to start funding their universities again instead of using student tuition.

This issue is stupid. If Elizabeth Warren was brought up in her family with stories that her mother was Native American. So what. She doesn't have to prove that. She doesn't have to document that. She had no reason to believe it wasn't so. Some people pay attention when there parents talk about there ancestry and some don't. Parents tell some of their children and not others. So what if Harvard listed her Native American ancestry. She had all of the other qualifications for the job.
