Cops invade property and insult innocent citizen

Prince George's County police were hanging out in the front yard, when I went to find out why they were in the yard they barraged me with insults, threats, and one even charged at me to "lock me up." That's when I got the camera and began recording. The "good cop" in the video was a major ass before I started recording, but knew to keep it cool when the camera was rolling.

With 13 homicides in the county (as of 1/14/11) since the beginning of the year, more than double the total in neighboring Washington, DC, you'd think the Prince George's County police would have better things to do on a Friday night.

@trl724... You couldn't possibly look at this more blindly from the cops perspective than you have. The whole reason I even got the camera was because he said he was gonna lock me up and charged at me. Not showing him my ID was my own safety measure. What if he didn't give it back? He had no more right to confine me to my house than I do to you. We don't live under martial law!

Ok the guy with the camera is for sure pushing buttons, but if the cop just walked away nobody would comment negatively against him. It's when cops take stuff personal they can't do their jobs correctly. Don't waste my tax payer money by fucking with people who make you mad. Move along please.

@sablemase Fair statement. The whole reason I got the camera was when I asked why they were in my yard, the two cops in the video said things like "None of your fucking business" and the real angry cop said "get the fuck inside before I arrest your ass." and charged at me. That's why I got the camera.

There you have a good example of the difference between a PEACE officer and a C.O.P. (Criminal on Patrol) Thug! If the home owner told the COP to get off his property, they had no warrant =COPs are tresspassing.If they do not get off the porperty and you fear for you life you could use deadly force. There are cases that UPHOLD the HOMEOWNER in such incidents, castle laws. I don't advocate killing but if you are threatened and they place their hands on you or show agression by not leaving.....

I work as a private investigator and they hate me. They are jealous because I am a detective and I am doing real police work. Investigation and fraud white collar criminals in jail. I am not going to stop! They can give me all the tickets they want!! I don't care any more. They can arrest me but in the end. I walk! If there is a God those cruel unfair cops are going to hell.!!

it is not a patrol officers job to solve murder cases. the detectives work on those cases

To me it looks like police officers arent different from anyone else.....they also get annoyed and frustrated when some idiot interferes with his/her job. this cameraman needs to learn to let the police do their jobs, without interfering and pissing them on.

@trl724 The response from the homeowner about solving the homicides was symbolic. The irony of a whole platoon of cops chasing one guy with a bag of weed, yet have only one detective assigned to five murder cases. Now do you get it, assclown?

Now this is how it's supposed to be done. Too many people pussy out when cops start intimidating them, then hand over ID's get jelly legs and voice starts to quiver in fear, etc. These Jack Boot thugs fear nothing because it takes an act of Congress to get them fired. They can violate every Constitutional Amendment, then claim ignorance of the law and not charge you with any crime after you have been detained in jail for a day or two.

I thought it was illegal to film police in Maryland. I like that you did it but talking to them in any way and asking questions usually gets you busted.

Why wouldn't he give it back? I'm not saying he didn't say those things but what you got on video wasn't out of line. Did you even call anyone about this? Yes I do look at it from police view and from what I got from your video nothing was done. If you were being harassed you should have called the police and made a complaint right then and there. Every complaint on a cop is looked into.
