Watch in HQ so you can see the details. The much maligned bushing-less 1911s... if you are one of the unfortunate souls with no manual or gunsmith to show you how to field strip these things, then this will help you.

  • Nice air soft gun.

  • Right, it's obviously an airsoft gun even though it has a magazine with clearly-visible .45 ACP-sized dummies in it, a .45 sized barrel, a .45 sized chamber... how exactly would it shoot airsoft pellets out of those?

You can always tell when somebody doesn't know what they're talking about.

  • When was this style of 1911 designed?

  • I vaguely remember reading about it somewhere... off the top of my head I can't remember though.

  • Another method is to use the magazine and press the recoil plug down until it's flushed with the full-length guide rod's front tip, then remove the bushing in the same fashinon as if the pistol is running a regular recoil plug. Just a suggestion.

  • That doesn't work because there is no bushing on these models.

  • That looks like a Para P-14 frame.

  • Thank you for this video! What kind of FA is that?

  • you talk to much! ass hole!!!

  • Paperclip is your friend on taking this down. You don't need anything special. Straighten a paperclip. Put it into the hole and then bend it to 90 degrees. Recoil assembly is removed as a complete assembly.

Push down on the reverse plug, then remove the papercilp to disassemble the recoil assembly for cleaning. Reverse for reassembly. This is nothing new.

  • Very Helpful! Thanks!
