Finnegan is an adorable 10 month old puppy who underwent bilateral FHO surgery on December 30, 2008. He was in the Vet hospital for five days before returning to his foster home on January 2, 2009. He had serous drainage coming from his right hip for three weeks post op, and did bite out his superficial stitches from both hip wounds. He was a trooper the whole time and never moped. He gradually took less and less time to stand up and run around and by the time he returned home to his pappa (after 9 rehab visits at the Vet hospital) he was well on the road to recovery. God bless you Finnegan (his first birthday is next month). Long may he roam.
