I was just curious if you could respond to this quesion. I have a CB radio in my car and every so often I'll either ask for any Kodaks with a Kojak or something simular or just talk. But sometimes they dont respond. My question is if u could answer it. Why is it that some truckers will respond to another truckers call but if a driver without a CDL gets on the radio and tries to talk they dont get a response at all?

crackin video tom, thanks very interesting.
Dont american trucks have some kind of tacograph on them so that police and company u drive for can make sure u drive safely/legally etc.
Its jst that here in UK, i believe truck drivers are heavily restricted on wot speed they can go. Jst askin this cos u say that speed limit was 65 but still trucks passing u at 70+.
P.S - like the tattoos and keep the vids comin

Most American trucks do not have any kind of tacograph. We have paper logbooks, and most of us have Qualcomm's, which provide satellite tracking and send back much of the data a tacograph would record. Only one company, Werner, uses a completely electronic system in place of logbooks centered around their Qualcomms. The speed limit for trucks will vary from state to state. Some states have split speed limits, which I think is generally a bad idea because it sets up an inherent conflict.
