After a few unanticipated challenges, the garden bed is finally ready to plant. While sticking to the budget, Joe tracks down wood for his raised bed from a very handy resource and even uses discarded wood from his neighbor's trash pile. Plus, he finally finds a use for some of those old bricks from the back yard pile.

  • Right QuickGardens! Until you've actually done it, it's hard to appreciate the effort that goes into making a garden to last for many seasons. But it sure it nice once the initial work is done. I'm looking forward to many more seasons from this garden.

  • What a nice thing to say. I'm glad to know my videos and tips are helping you! Best of luck in your efforts and thanks for leaving your comment.

  • I'm busting up laughing because I can relate. It looks simple till we have to actually do it. The good news is once the task is finished it will last for years. That's the difference between cost vs investment. The garden is an investment which pays for itself.

  • Look at what you have done it is amazing...

  • Wow! You are my inspiration! I'm planting indoors for now because I got injured on the job and cannot do any yard work. You are a big help and give great tips for future planting. Thanks!
