@kittynitty82 It is not as common as you think? I beg your pardon? If it wasn't for the privacy act by hospitals thousands of video's could be posted of women coming into emergency after a home delivery by VBAC, because the tore badly, hemoraging, prolapse etc.
-
@bxintx What do you mean surround yourself with good people? You WERE sourrounded with a good DOCTOR. VBAC could do nothing and did nothing. You baby was delivered healthy because of the doctor, not VBAC.

thank you for sharing. I am expecting in five weeks. Your vid was awesome! My husband (first timer) took notes from yours! :D High five to you both! From the Adams'.

You give hope and inspiration for VBACs. I feel robbed from a C-Section and unfortunatly with the politics of the monopoly that runs the hospital system down here there is no chance for VBAC because they won't give up a waiting OR for it. Maybe I can find somewhere to do it outside of Southwest Florida once I'm a RN and can move!

Amen Sister!!!! I completely understand and agree

I also had a VBAC and i was so proud that *I* did it!!!! I was able to push my son out on my own....i always felt there was something "missin" from my first sons birth. My first son was taken from me my second son i gave to the world. Everyone asks me if the healing time is why i prefer vaginal birth and I say no...its a sence of pride I held my head up high for 3 months after he was born I felt "complete" as a woman. C-Section is so unnatural vaginal is the best gift anyone can get.

Believe in yourself, if you don't want this really badly, it will be taken away from you. Surreound yourself with good people who will not sabotage your VBAC. YOU CAN DO THIS!

Im really happy your baby is healthy. However do you really think it was prudent to have a home delivery after having 2 c-sections? What if something bad happend suddently, and you wernt able to make it to the hospital in time to save the babys or your life. Every one is entitled to their own opinion. But i cant say i agree with home births. Sure there more comfortable but it seems selfish, should the saftey of the baby not come before the comfort of the mother?

I did a vast quantity of research about the birth of my 3rd child. Yes, VBAC is safe, you have a lower risk of 'something' going wrong than a first time mother. I had also givne birth vaginally (1st child) before which also makes it safer. My ideal would have been a midwife in a hospital with a dr in the background just in case. But, this is the US, not other westernized European countries, so that option was not available to me. I did my homework and chose the safest way for baby and me.

Believe in yourself is the best advice I can offer. "I've done this before, I can do it again." Its the best way to bring your baby into this world, as you know. Congrats on your pregnancy.
