I understand why some POZs pose as NGs; everyone wants to be accepted and acknowledged by their “self-identified” peer group, but one must find a balance between their own insecurities and their place in their world; however, deception is never a panacea. Having had grown up through the age of AIDS I’ve seen it all (I’m 52). I’ve been fortunate in never having had been infected, not even a STD...

There’s still no guarantee that I won’t be infected, and I treat everyone with respect and dignity regardless of their status, but I do treat everyone as if they are POZ, and act accordingly – reduces the anxiety immensely, and I believe it encourages candor and honesty. Everyone wants to be appreciated for who they are, not judged for what they have.

Chris Don't get tired of me... One more thing. I was actually going to suggest school ... man you are YOUNG........ you better take your butt back to school..... and you can get all the money you need ...... Pell Grant, State grants, and loans. You can pay for school without even taking a loan. Also.... You can be classified independent so you can get even MORE. You better get with the program. I am the school king.
