  • @valtInter2004 Damn man, you are a weirdo or someone who should never work in the entertainment business, her accent and her acting was perfect. get over yourself you self righteous prick, you have many english actors and austrailian actors who play americans and people do not call that ignorance, because it is acting.

  • C'mon! She's acting a good hispanic/latin/mexican spanish accent!

  • @ glossandcurls ;)

  • @glossandcurls you propably arent even mexican and thats why you dont understand anything ... Tris movie shows a lack of creativity and effort... It wouldn't be so hard to hire a Mexican actress with the accuerate Spanish accent to play the role of Flor and I'm not bigoted and the only retard here is you for acting like a old lady on menopause Lol I am half Spanish and happened to be in love with Spain and it's people so just chill seriously take a midol or something lol

  • Lol tu madre wey :)

  • @liah14 Eres tonta

  • I don't think they cast her "as a Mexican" but merely as a Spanish-speaking immigrant. What's wrong with that? They cast Denzel Washington as an Italian in a Shakespearean play, and none of us gringos complained nada! It's about personality, and ability to play the part.

  • @liah14 I understand. My fiancee is Ecuadorian, and her accent in both languages is also different. But just as they cast Sean Connery to be Irish, Mel Gibson to be American, Robert Downey Jr. to be British, etc, it's not always a move out of ignorance. Sometimes they just want to put the right actor/actress in the right role.

Paz Vega is amazing and plays this to a tee. I do agree that the difference between Mexico and Spain is vast, but I call it the suspension of disbelief.
