After the Storm-A Niley Story-Chapter 4: Confessions

Nicks POV

-Later that night when Nick is at home, playing guitar-

-Joe walks in on Nick while hes busy strumming away-

Joe: Haha so Kevin told me about the situation with you and Miley. * Chuckles *

Nick: * Continues playing * I told him not to tell you! And its NOT funny!

Joe: Why? I think its pretty hilarious!

Nick: No its not. Trust me, if you were in my position right now, you wouldnt be too happy either.

Joe: Whatever. * Changes the subject * Hey, is that a new song youre writing?

Nick: Yeah.

Joe: Whats it about?

Nick: What do you care? * Tries to ignore him *

Joe: Well I was just curious

Nick: * Puts down his guitar * Alright. Well its about a guy who recently met up with his ex-girlfriend, who he hasnt seen in months. When they first meet, he hates her. But then after hanging out with her for a bit, he realizes that hes fallen in love with her all over again. But she doesnt realize it because shes too busy hating on him.

Joe: Wow, thats intenseand confusing too.

Nick: Yes it is.

Joe: * Thinks * Wait, hold on a seccould the guy in this song be YOU and the ex-girlfriend is MILEY?

Nick: * Blushes * Uhnoits aboutyour relationship with Demi.

Joe: Uh, Demi and I ARE DATING RIGHT NOW. So it cant possibly be about us!

Nick: Well

Joe: Nick, you are the WORST liar in the world!

Nick: Okay fine! The song IS about Miley! There, are you happy now?

Joe: WHOA! Youre in love with Miley again!

Nick: Uh yeah

Joe: So are you guys dating again? Like, whats the deal here?

Nick: No way! Miley hates me. She thinks I still hate her too. Like I said, she has no idea I have a secret crush on her.

Joe: Youre crazy! How can you be in love with a girl who hates you?!

Nick: I dont know. Just after meeting all those fans with her tonight, I looked at her and I saw her smiling at all of them and that smile just reminded me of all the memories we shared two years ago. She never even stopped smiling back then!

Joe: But she was smiling at you tonight?

Nick: No. Just the fans. She kept giving me the evil eye every time we made eye contact.

Joe: You dont make any sense. I still dont get how you can be in love with a person like that. * Confused *

Nick: Well, Im a confusing person. But I think the real reason why Im in love with her is that I still never wanted our relationship to end. I want to continue that storyforever.

Joe: DUDE! Youre a little too deep sometimes!

Nick: * Chuckles * Haha, I guess so.

Joe: Look, Im sorry to break it to youbut I dont think that Niley is ever gonna happen again.

Nick: * Sighs * I know, but a guy can dream right?

Joe: * Smiles * Yeah. Come here; let me give you a big brotherly hug. Those usually make you feel better.

Nick: Well only when theyre coming from Kevin.

Joe: Hey! Is that anyway to treat your awesome brother? * Laughs *

Nick: * Laughs * Haha, Im just kidding. Youre both awesome.

-They hug-

Joe: * Yawns * Well, Im tired. Goodnight Nick!

Nick: Goodnight Joe. And by the way, thanks for listening.
