@mariachitv Hoh excellent: I thought it would need a stronger magnetic field. It is very great to see particle be binded !! It proov the right hand magnetic law. You can notice that some particles are negativ and other positive. It have a lot of differents events in you video I love it !!

very good visualisation of the particles tracks!

What song is this? The particle trails are so cool!

Wich magnetic field are you using ?
Excelent video !

@TheEnialis It is a 4" x 6" x 1" ceramic magnet. It gives about 300 Gauss, enough to deflect particles we observe.

what is the dimensions of the chamber? are you using dry ice os liquid nytrogen? isopropil alcohol?
thanks! good job

about 40x20 cm on its base and about 20 cm tall. It runs on dry ice or liquid nitrogen and we use ethanol. I posted another video with somewhat improved video. There are three permanent magnets under the chamber that measures 10x15 cm.

(CH3)(CH2)OH 99.5 percent ethanol? what is the "cooling plate" made of? aluminium, copper..? I'm using 99.5 percent propynal C3H20 alcohol on a 10x10x15cm chamber with cooper-plate-cooling and don't have the same resolution as yours. maybe its the ethanol! what do you think?
thanks!

I think it is 200 proof ethanol, or 100%, I think. The bottom plate is aluminum. We have obtained similar tracks using isopropanol . We observed that thicker tracks were caused by inadequate temperature differential between top and bottom.
