I had given up hope of finding more than amateurish and disappointing poetry readings, then I came upon this, and I tell you I was moved. For the entire 8 minutes and some odd seconds I was spellbound. Magnificent! I will insist that the poetry lovers among my friends watch this.

i had to go through a bunch of old english guys jollily reciting the poem before i finally got to this. you clearly have thought a lot about the poem and its meaning. it can be seen that you know excactly what the poem is about. you got it right.

This was very nicely delivered. Thank you for it.
Maybe you could read William Blake as well? Or Coleridge?

Funny you should mention Blake and Coleridge -- I am planning to do "Xanadu" and I was thinking about doing "The Lamb" and "The Tyger". (I memorized those a while ago -- in fact you might be able to spot Blake's illustrated version of "The Tyger" on my bathroom wall in my video of "Resume".) Yeats's "The Second Coming" is a good idea too, though I haven't memorized that one -- yet!

I never really thought about it, but it makes sense that he would have recorded it. Is it available on Caedmon?
