Chick Bullock is an exceptional story in the history of Jazz. Bullock was, by contemporary accounts, ugly. Pock marked & hunch-backed. -Not sure of all his physical imprefections, but he had a voice better than Crosby. That's why he could get THE top cats as sidemen. His lacquers are gone. Therefore, it's extremely important to find shellacs of Chick Bullock. I have been reastering for 30+ years. I will spend months transfering & remastering a single Bullock side -it's important.

He did a number of awesome records when this one was recorded, Another one of My favorits is "Tie Me To Your Apron Strings Again" As well as This and it`s Flip side. "Whispering".
