if she'd have sung that on american idol instead of when god fearin' women get the blues i think she would've had a standing ovation and better comments from the judges. this is the best vocal performance from Carrie i think :)

Okay so if you have watched the america idol auditions of carrie underwood she said she loves and idolizes Martina Mcbride, wouldnt it be your dream to win american idol and sing your idols song? I mean who are some people to critic others, who have nothing no voice no thing but yet they are critisizing when she is an amazing singer with an amazing heart.

People, people, people. First of all, who cares if Martina sang this song and got oscars, grammies and various other shiny and prestigious awards. If you sit down to compare who sang the song better, its going to be a dead vote. Clearly this is martina's song, she is the original, no one will do this song like she does. However, this is Carrie, and she can sing too. She does the song justice for a younger crowd. Do not crucify her for it. It is a song afterall, and she did sing it well.
